clothed figure

these are from a clothed figure class a few weeks ago , we used some monster hunter reference while drawing from the model most are ten minutes or 20 , line quality and material need some work hope you enjoy.

lightning gouache study

I learned in my color and design class that i wasn't using gouache to its full potential mostly my consistency of the paint was either to thin or thick so I tried this little painting and I gotta say it was the funnest painting i have ever done I had so much more control of the paint that I really freed myself to think of value and color that I wanted so I am happy with a painting for once I see alot of things I need to work on but it feels good to have something I truly made.

new year post

this is the last painting I did for 2010 I have learned alot in one year compared to my first post early this year if you go back a few pages I must always keep going foward I'm not sure who said this but it has stuck with me these last few years "once you stop learning.... you start dying!" well here is to another great year of art education and to all good luck on our journey.

this was a little skirmish between hw assignments I like the story for this girl so far I just have to work out her personality this is gouache 1 hour

Sketchbook finish painting

This was a months worth of not painting at all I have done a huge three hour love demo with this self portrait I'll call it and I realized I love to paint its just I have to learn all my basics first oh and yes that is cthulhu back there.
